[01] Project Intro
The Special Spots sells to owners, not pets , a purchase driven by aesthetics and emotion as much as utility. Premium positioning had to be earned onscreen: an identity credible enough to justify the price, product presentation that conveyed material and craft, and a shopping architecture organized the way people actually think , by pet, by room, by occasion , rather than by warehouse category.

Key highlight
As the sole UX/UI and product designer, I owned the project end to end. I started with research, talking to pet owners about how they shop and what makes a premium purchase feel worth it, then translated those findings into an information architecture and shopping flow built around how people actually browse. From there I designed the storefront, product pages, and checkout, and built the brand identity from the ground up: logo, palette, and typography, packaged into a design system that keeps the experience coherent as the catalog grows.
